Activities

On September 2nd, 2019, a Personality Development Workshop was conducted by Mrs PrernaPanwar (Senior Trainer, Flying Monarch, New Delhi), who volunteered to teach the students the essential values of self-awareness, self-care, body language, and personal hygiene, among others.

Him Jyoti Vocational Institute celebrated Teacher’s Day on September 5th, 2019. The students greeted the teachers with thoughtful speeches, poems, and surprised them with a marvellous dance performance. The badminton competition between teachers and students was a fun-filled event. The day concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony.


To foster all-around skill enhancement and let students pursue their desired hobbies, every Saturday was designated for Saturday Club Activities. The five clubs that students participate in are Cooking Club, Gardening Club, Sports Club, Cultural Club, and Scrap Creation Club.


September 11th, 2019 marked the Plantation Awareness Programme at HJVI Campus by the Indian Red Cross Society.


The students of HJVI along with the staff went for a picnic to Lachchhiwala. A Parent-Teachers’ Meeting was held on September 18th, 2019, where the Vice Principal Ms Ritika Chauhan interacted with the parents and enlightened them about their crucial role in their daughters’ lives.


On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and LalBahadur Shastri Jayanti, HJVI conducted a small programme where they offered flowers and gave rousing speeches about the pioneering figures. A rally was organized by HJVI and the Indian Red Cross Society on the mission “No Plastic, Go Green”.


A nukkadnatak (street play) was performed by the students called “Swachchhta Apnao) to make people aware about their cleanliness mission.


A Rangoli Competition on the theme ‘Best out of Waste’ was organized at HJVI Campus on October 25th, 2019 between the five Saturday Clubs. Scrap Creation Club won the first prize in the competition.


On November 14, 2019 HJVI celebrated children’s day to give blessings to the students by organising YOGA session and dance party along with the lunch in the campus.
